Bill Rentiers |
Coach Bill Rentiers is currently the Head Lacrosse Coach at New Providence High School. Prior to coaching at New Providence, he was the Head Coach at Morristown High School for 3 seasons. While at Morristown Coach Rentiers coached two all conference players. He was also responsible for uniting the youth program with the high school team. |
Jason Carlstrom |
Coach Carlstrom is entering his second year as the head coach of Voorhees High School, after coaching at Mendham High School. Coach Carlson played at Gettysburg College and Mendham High School. |
Steve Donnelly |
Currently head coach at Roxbury High School. |
Matt Perriera |
Coach Perriera is entering his 8th season as the Ridge High School defense coach. |
Sean Fitzgerald |
Coach Fitzgerald is entering his 4th season at Ridge. Coach Fitzgerald is taking over the JV team in 2009. Prior to JV coach Fitzgerald led the Ridge Freshman team to a 31-20 record from 2006 to 2008. Also, Coach Fitzgerald along with Coach Mack led a combination of Ridge freshman and JV players to win the 2007 Toms River JV Lacrosse Open. In addition to the lacrosse team, Coach Fitzgerald coached Freshman Basketball at Ridge in 2005. He now coaches at Roselle Catholic since 2006. Coach Fitzgerald is a graduate of Quinnipiac University and Ridge High School class of 2000, where he played basketball and lacrosse. |
Michael Mack |
Coach Mack is entering his 4th season at Ridge. He coached the JV team to a record of 38-11 from 2006 to 2008. In 2007 Coach Mack and Coach Fitzgerald co-coached a combination of Ridge JV and freshman players to win the Toms River JV Lacrosse Open Championship. Coach Mack became a full time varsity assistant in 2009. Coach Mack played lacrosse at Lycoming College where he earned First Team All-MAC as a sophomore in 2002. Coach Mack graduated Ridge High in 2000, where he was a three year starter for the Red Devils. Coach Mack is still an avid player he played in several tournaments this summer including the Vail Shootout in Colorado, The Ocean City Classic in Maryland and War at the Shore in Brick, NJ. |
Nick Coppola |
Nick Coppola is currently a senior at Skidmore College; as a freshman, Nick started all 13 games while leading the Liberty League in assists with 25; Coppola added 7 goals and 23 groundballs to finish second on the team in points during his freshman season. He was also chosen as the Liberty League Rookie of the Week during March 2006. While being named All-Academic Team in his sophomore season, Coppola led the Thoroughbreds in points and assists. With 15 goals and 29 assists for a total of 44 points, Coppola was named to the All-Liberty League Second Team. He was also chosen as the Liberty League Offensive Performer of the Week on April 2, 2007. In his junior year Nick again earned a Liberty League Second-Team selection. Nick was led the Thoroughbreds in scoring with 17 points and 31 assists for 48 points. He was the Liberty League assist leader with 2.21 per game. Prior to College, Nick was a standout for Coach Marsh at Ridge High School and graduated in 2005. He was also an All-State Hockey player at Ridge on a team that made it to the New Jersey State Finals. |
Jordan Nies |
Jordan Nies is entering his sophomore year at Bucknell University. Jordan graduated Ridge in 2007. As a four-year varsity player Jordan accumulated 223 career points (109 goals, 114 assists) including a 114 point (51 goals, 63 assists) season his Senior year. Jordan earned First-Team All-Conference selections along with First-Team All-State and in 2007 he was a U.S. Lacrosse High School All-American. He was also named Star Ledger Player of the Week on Apr. 25, 2007 after collecting eight goals and eight assists in three games, including an overtime tally. |
Mike Jennings |
Mike is entering his sophomore year at Skidmore College. Mike was a two-year starter at Ridge, where he lead the defense his junior and senior year. He also earned All- Conference and Division honors. |
Dan Cooney |
Dan Cooney is entering his freshman year at Delaware University where he was recruited to be a face-off specialist. Dan earned 2008 U.S. Lacrosse High School All-American status at the ‘X’. During his four years at Ridge High School Dan recorded 307 ground balls and currently leads Ridge’s Career Face-Off Record with a percentage with a 0.667 (606 won, 302 lost). |
